You know what, with the recent price cut, if your 360 breaks now, and its not the RROD then just buy a cheap Arcade unit. Its better than sending your old console off to M$ for a month, and almost as cheap. Plus, you get a brand new console and a year waranty in the shops.
Plus, you don't even know if M$ do a good job on repairing your old one...

So how can it be a slow way off? I don't get that. I download movies on the marketplace in HD. THey only take a few hours.
Say you download a full on next-gen game on your PS4 or 720...
You download the games engine and first level first. That would take less than an hour at my current speed. And while i'll playing that first level, the second, third, fourth etc... is downloading in the background.

Because they want to srew there fans over into buying a new drive every year or two. If they offered a 1TB HDD now, no one would need to upgrade after that, and M$ would ultimately lose money in the long run. Maybe on the 720 it'll come with a 1TB HDD as standard. Maybe on the 720 we'll have the option of downloading ALL out games. Hell, they may do a SKU without any form of Disc drive!
